On August 24th, 2023, Jack Sieckhaus and Emmett Ralston swam around Mercer Island, Washington, supervised by the kayaking efforts of Evan Liu, Dylan Shobe, and Coach Nate O'Brien. From 6:15 am in the morning to 1:45 pm in the afternoon, the pair swam nearly 29,000 yards, with their swim totaling nearly 6 hours and 40 minutes.

Battling wind, cold, boat wakes, and exhaustion, Jack and Emmett were able to complete a challenge that few swimmers can claim in the state of Washington. For their efforts, the two have raised $5000 for The First Night Project, enough to fund the creation of 20 care-packages for newly diagnosed teenage pediatric cancer patients around the Pacific Northwest.
